After my recent Vista Updates when I press my sleep and hibernate the screen
goes black, as is usual, but then it turns on immediately again to ask for
my password... and it WON'T STOP!!!! It won't stay asleep or hibernating!!!!
What can I do!!!!

Hi,

Uninstall the recent updates until you figure out which one is causing the
problem. The actual issue is more likely that one or more of your system's
device drivers don't fully intermingle with that update.

You cannot be serious !...how can you uninstall 100's of updates that have
been shoved down our throat since Vista is released. Why doesn't MS fix this
damn problem instead of pushing the responsibility to the end user !

So you've installed HUNDREDS of updates RECENTLY? Just either do a system
restore to a point before this behaviour started or uninstall updates one by
one starting with the NEWEST until you find the culprit.

Also you need to understand that MS cannot POSSIBLY test each and every
update on EVERY single combination of hardware that exists today...

You are a moron. A complete moron. Have there been "100's of" RECENT
updates???

No.

Again, you are a moron.

Hello Ken,

Check with the steps in this tutorial below to see if it may be able to
help you find out what is waking up your computer. I would be sure to
check the Power Management settings on your network adapter, and the
"Wake On ..." settings in the BIOS.

Hope this helps,
Shawn

Hey retard MS snidley Fanboy: go to MS Vista site and count the updates that
have been released since its release. This problem started happening 10
months ago. I am not the only one having this issue, if you are so stupid
enough not to read other posts about the subject. Just type "Vista sleep" in
the Google Search and see for yourself. "100's" was a figurative speech
indicating "lots". If you dont know English may be you should take a class
for English as a Second Language in your local community college. Apart from
that you have truly shown everyone here that you cannot even have a
productive discussion without vicious personal attacks about a real problem
which is the main purpose of this forum. Go hide in a cave and the world
will be better off without your unfortunate, sorry, foul presence. Dont
bother posting a response because I will not descend to your "scum of the
human kind" level.
