Very odd. Vista reads PNG graphics by default - no add-ons are
required. Perhaps something hijacked your PNG associations? Try this:
- Click "Start" then "Control Panel"
- Click "Programs"
- Click "Default Programs"
- Click "Set your default programs"
- Click on "Windows Photo Gallery" (or "Windows Live Photo Gallery"
if you use it instead)
- Click on "Choose defaults for this program"
- Scroll the list down until you find ".PNG" and make sure it is
checked.
- Click "Save"
- Click "OK"
- Close "Control Panel"Did this this solve the problem?
