Pocket PC 2003 Won't Connect with WMDC 6.1 via Bluetooth

I am running Pocket PC 2003 Premium (Windows CE 4.20) on an iPAQ h4150.

With WMDC 6.1 on my Vista Business, I can connect via USB with no problem.
As per the instructions I connected once with USB, and then tried to connect
with Bluetooth. No joy.

I can still connect with no problems ot my old laptop (XP) using ActiveSync
4.5. But I have to give the laptop back to my previous employer.

What am I doing wrong? Does WMDC 6.1 really support Windows CE 4.20 (Pocket
PC 2003 Premium) via Bluetooth? Has anyone else succeeded?
