Popup Blocker Not Working

Even though I have Popup on sometimes I get these windows popup
right in front of where my mouse pointer is. They usually have a close
button
but I feel it's very intrusive when they popup right in front of me.
Any way to turn these off in IE 8??

These are not "popups" (which generally open in a new tab or window), they
are "overlays". The built-in IE popup blocker doesn't touch these, you could
disable javascript but that will have an adverse effect on many other sites.
You will need to find a 3rd party add-on to disable these, if one exists.
