PopUps @ Startup on WindowsXP

I have recently re-installed WindowsXP on my PC. Since then, I have been
getting 5 PopUp Boxes at Startup....they seem to be in MSDOS. I sought the
assistance of a person who is knowledgeable on PC's. He says that they don't
appear to be harmful or corruptive...he thinks that they have some sort of a
"command" issue. The PopUps are as follows:
DrvmCDB pending IO
DrvmCDB
Dispatch \??\TFSWIFS
Dispatch\Tfsnifs
Diagnostic Traces
"Xing" any one of these Boxes, erases all of them. I would appreciate your
input on this puzzling situation. Thank you.

Same answer for both of your posts - since this is NOT a Windows Update
issue, suggest you post to an XP newsgroup :

[Check the Startup axis using Msconfig to see if ssdiag.exe is loading
on boot. Disable it, if present.]
