Port Forwarding

Hello

How do I forward all UDP traffic onto a port? I having trouble running
Xfire with Windows Vista.

So any help is appreciated.

Port forwarding is done on a router. Set the computer's IP address to static
and then go into your router's configuration utility and forward desired
ports to the target computer's IP address.

You don't know how to get into your router's configuration utility and you're
trying to forward ports? Are you sure you really want to do this?

Here is general information about accessing a router's configuration utility.
Refer to your own router's manual or look on its tech support website for
details.

Have a computer connected to the router with an ethernet cable. Examples
given are for a Linksys router. Refer to your router manual or the router
mftr.'s website for default settings if you don't have a Linksys. Open a
browser such as Internet Explorer or Firefox and in the addressbar type:

http://192.168.1.1 [enter] (this is the router's default IP address, which
varies from router to router so check your manual)

This will bring you to router's login screen. The default username is left
blank and the Linksys default password is "admin" without the quotes. Enter
that information. Obviously if you were smart and changed the default
password (a first step in setting up a router correctly and securely) you
will enter the password you set. You are now in the router's configuration
utility. Find the section for forwarding ports. Remember that the target
computer must have a static IP address.

This is not really a Vista or even a Windows issue. Problems with Xfire
should be posted to their user forums or contact their tech support.
