What happened. Things have been going along fine for months. Today I try to
access my portfolio and I keep getting the message that initialization
failed. I followed all of the troubleshooting guides that come up to no
avail. What's going on???

In what application are these "portfolio charts"? Remember that we can't
see your computer and we have no idea what "troubleshooting guides"
you've followed.

Help us help you:

1. The First Question Of Troubleshooting: what changed between the time
things worked and the time they didn't?

1a. If you can figure out what changed, reverse that change and see if
it fixes the issue.
1b. If you can't figure out what changed, try a System Restore to when
things worked. To run System Restore, go to the Start Orb and in the
Start Search box type "System Restore" without the quotes. System
Restore will appear in the Programs result. Click on it, allow the UAC
prompt, and follow the wizard.

2. If no joy from above, post in the MS Money newsgroup. Make sure you
tell them what version of Money you are using.
microsoft.public.money

P.S. - To Lang - Alas, yes. I wish I weren't an ex-New Yorker and could
have stayed there but Life Intervened.
