Ports? Messneger

Live messenger beta worked. Update to current complains about ports. What
ports have to be open?

I can't explain it but I went to another limited account in xp and used her
updated live messneger and it worked. I installed it in an admin account but
first tried to access messenger in a limited account that had never accessed
it before. Didn't work. Went to prior working account and it logged on. Went
back to first limited account and now it works.

Dunno.

Do you have any third-party firewall software installed? The firewall might have been
blocking it under the limited account?
