If possible i wouldn't use a firewall during migration, otherwise AD needs
at least open ports according to:

Also use the ADMT migration guide which also states about firewall requirement
on client machines:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en
Machine services have to run that way that remote management is possible.
If you can't access a machine remotely you run into trouble, also remote
management requirements are included in the migration guide.
