i believe that i have some sort of spyware or something on my computer.avast
did not catch the install, so i downloaded spybot. it does not find anything.
so here is the problem, when i restored my computer back to orginal norton
said that i had a trojan. well nothing else finds it, but i cannot open any
of my music or pictures. i can open everything in safe mode with no problems.
i no longer have norton as it costs $ that i dont have right now. it was just
a trial version. please help me. thanks.

download and install the free AVG anti-virus/anti-spyware.

Hi,

Update and run your antivirus software while in safe mode. Running a scan in
normal mode when already infected is like trying to stop a speeding car by
dragging your feet on the pavement.

Get SUPERAntiSpyware. It's probably the best anti-spyware option out
there today.

'SUPERAntiSpyware.com - AntiAdware, AntiSpyware, AntiMalware!'

The free version of Superantispywarte should get you out if trouble.

A clarification on the terminology: the word "malware" is short for
"malicious software." Most Anti-Virus applications detect many types of
malware such as viruses, worms, trojans, etc.
What AV applications usually don't detect is "non-viral" malware, and the
term "non-viral malware" is normally used to refer to things like spyware
and adware.

What do you mean you cannot see any pictures ?
How are you trying to see the pictures ?
What does any error message say ?
