I had problem posting to Genealogy.coms Genforum. I would get an icon with
a big Red X, and could not post or read FAQs.

I tried all contacting Genealogy, com, Norton antivirus, Microsoft support,
and others. None of them come up with a solution to correct the problem.

When I tried to down load windows updates, got msg, can not display this
page. I went to FAQs, and found the answer. killer on page 10, had same
problem, he discovered his PC clock year date was wrong, I found mine was
also, when I corrected it, the problem was solved.

Hope this helps some one.

Accck !!!!!! If you do NOT want to be able to update successfully and
want Red X's, keep using Norton garbage.

I do use Norton Anti-Virus, and do not have any problems with it. I've used
this for 15 years.

Also, when my PC clock changed daylight time, it changed the clock year
date to 2020. Also, when I sent an email after the change, they were dated
year 2020, and showed up in my sent box folder. I made an new sent folder
and moved all the sent emails with year 2020 to it. The 2020 sent emails
showed up first in my sent emails, and I would have to scroll back to get
the last email I sent.

Hi there,

What a remark is this?

Norton AV does not cause this, I am using it for 12 years now along with
panda online scan and also use Genealogy.coms without a problem. It seems to
me that particular site has been blocked by a program, might be IE for as
far as I can tell.

Best regards,
Michel Denie
