Hi there...

I was an XP user until recently. To capture video I've used my 3 years
old video card: AVerMedia AVerTV Video Capture (C115). The software I
have used was Cyberlink's Power Director in the latest versions. Now
I've upgraded to Vista 64-bit, installed the right drivers for the video
card and installed Power Director (v. 7) but I can't see anything in the
screen that's supposed to be getting the image from my video.

I've also installed XP on the same machine just to use the video card.
It works well over there, but I'd like to capture video on Vista so I
don't have to switch between the OS's every time.

I wonder if any of you have stumbled upon this problem before. Any help
would be appreciated.

Hi franzaatar

Have you tried in Windows Media Center?
I have an AVermedia TV card working in Vista Home 64, Vista Ultimate 64
& Windows 7 64 using Windows Media Center.
It's an Analog /Digital TV Turner with 3-d comb

In Device Manager: Avermedia M791 PCIe Combo NTSC/ATSC Driver date:
09/04/2007 Driver Version 6.104.64.5
