I have a new Dell desktop with an Intel Quad processor running Vista home
premium. I have a Logitech wireless mouse and keyboard. I have my
screensaver set to come on in 20 minutes, the turn off display set for 30
minutes and the computer to sleep set for 60 minutes. The display never turns
off and the screensaver turns off and the desktop is then displayed. If I set
the screensaver to off then the display does turn off, but the computer never
goes to sleep. I would appreciate any help you can offer. Thanks.

Are you using the "My Pictures" screensaver? This sounds very similar to a
Vista bug I documented a few months ago (see
http://groups.google.com/group/micro...berts%22+vista)

I was hoping SP1 would fix this bug, but it didn't and so far I've heard of
no solutions.
