Thanks for that Blog exaplining how to clean-install Upgrade medi aon a
virgin machine.
But one person there made a typical "greedy corporation" stupid remark
there.

He says Apple is not torturing customers with regsitry, hacks, etc in order
to run a clean Upgrade install + it ships Recovery media with every Mac.
This person fails to udnerstand a fundamental fact:

Software is Microsoft's overwhelmingly dominating business, all their mice,
keyboards, and X-Box don't come close.
Microsoft is making your life harder only due to these pirates who damage
MS's main business, while Apple is more tolerant BECAUSE HARDWARE IS APPLE'S
MAIN BUSINESS, WAKE UP ****!

An Operating System for Apple is an accessory to help sell macs, while
Operating System for Microsoft is the main revenue source, OK?
Plus Apple makes portables (smartphones, music devices, etc).

It's easier to protect hardware, than software against piracy, in fact
piracy cannot be prevented in a free society.
If this was totalitarian regime we could be shooting people for stealing
government software, but then that software would likely to be 2nd sort
anyway as totaliarism stiffens free enterprise,

Anyways you get my point.
You have accept MS's anti-piracy efforts as justified.
Else hordes of highly-paid Software Engineers would lose their incomes, stop
spending, and YOU as a whole economy will suffer.
Plus MS projects American might to the rest of the world, dont play with it.
Lots of people will lose their jobs if you hurt MS.

I doubt Vista was pirated much.

He sure got his wish.

I did find a good use for the Ubuntu CD's. I put them in the back yard and
taught the dog to **** on them. Every few days we pick up the CD's. Now if
only I had Alias' address!
