This keystroke combination causes Explorer.Exe to popup (by design), but if
you hold down for to long too many Explorer.Exe popup, to causes Vista to
hang. Don't try it usless you save all your work. It's not a pretty sight.

This repros in XP SP2, but XP does not crash like Vista.

Those Microsoft software engineers, should have design it so only 1
Explorer.Exe per keystroke combination RELEASE.

Patient: Doctor, doctor it really hurts when I do this!

Doctor: Well, don't do that.

that's pretty neat.
I did it for about 9 seconds, and it opened 90 windows before I did a C-A-D.
Didn't lock up my computer tho....

Interesting observation and confirmed. Within a few seconds, I got at least
50 exploer windows, but it stands still and I just closed them all

Yeh, but if you hold them down for 20 seconds you get to see a Vista easter
egg. :-)

It doesn't harm my Vista PC - after a while I get a box that advised me that
Explorer has stopped responding and when I click the button to close the
offending program, all the Explorer windows close at once. No harm, no
foul, no crash.

Yeah, I tried this... it threw like a friggin' bazzilion Exporer Windows and
my system did get "Fra-eekie Deekie" for two minutes or so... flashing white
windows and the system wouldn't repond... but when the system -did-
respond... I closed all of the Explorer windows, refreshed the desktop and
the taskbar and was good to go. System did not crash.
