Does anyone know how to stop Vista being overidden by quicktime when your
opening tif files although I have associated the file type with Adobe
Acrobat. Yet it keeps overiding the association current defualt
I went through vista's default programs then associate file type or
proptocal with Adobe Acrobat but quciktime keeps overiding my selection even
though the association has been changed to allow tif files to open with Adobe
acrobat.

The only thing that seams to work is when I remove quicktime.

Can anyone help?

Open QuickTime, click Edit > Preferences > Quicktime Preferences > File Type Association. Untick .TIFF.
