How to prevent "your computer needs to be restarted" message

I am currently using Microsoft Software Update Service, and I have my clients set to automatically install updates every day at a specified time, to allow updates to be received by users who don't have local administrator capabilities.
I also have enabled the setting in group policy to prevent computers from being restarted automatically following an install. Users receive the message stating that their computers need to be restarted. This doesn't force a reboot, but there only options are to say yes, no is greyed out, and so is the x box to close the message. I assume this is because the users don't have local administrator privileges. Is there anyway to prevent this message all together??? I still want to prevent the computers from being restarted automatically, but don't really want users to see this message pop-up. Everyone shuts their computers off at the end of the day anyway, so we are getting the necessary reboots for the updates to continue.
If their is anyway using group policy, or registry editing to prevent this message, it would be greatly appreciated...
