Anyone know how to prevent Vista from asking if I want to
scan my USB Flash drive every time I insert it?

It's probably a setting in your anti-virus.

Correctly remove the device each time you are done with it (Safely Remove
Hardware icon in the System Tray), or let it be scanned and "fixed" as
needed.

Hmmmmm...is the OP talking about autoplay, or Virus scan?

If autoplay, control panel, default programs, change autoplay settings,
uncheck use autoplay

If Antivirus, I honesty would rather it want to keep it that way. Norton has
been doing that with the floppy for years. With the advent of the thumb
drives, it makes it even easier. Hell, I can take my TD and walk past, slip
it in, infect the system, and just walk away. However, after looking in NIS,
I don't even see a place where it scans that drive unless you do it
manually.
