previous version

Where Can I download the previous version of WLM? I.E. version 2008
(12.0.1606) version. I am having way too many problems with this newer
version.

Remember to first uninstall the Windows Live Essentials Suite (which includes Windows Live
Messenger 2009) in Programs and Features/Add or Remove Programs in the Control Panel, and
then install 2008 after that.

I have to agree with the post below, New messenger is too problematic. I am
receiving unsolicited mails and invites for other networks and i dont know
what is public or not. i prefer the privacy and control of old version. also
how do i put back icons(buttons) on my toolbar that tells me how many friends
are on line and if i have mail which disappeared when i installed new one.

I Have to Agree with you MtnMama I hate this version of live the new one
sucks spiders venom, or hell it sould go suck the venom of the Brazilian
Wandering Spider (Banana Spider) The Worlds most toxic spider I HATE the new
