Hope someone can help

Here are the system details: Laptop- HP with Vista Home Premium x6
printing to a HP desktop with XP x32 and a Lexmark 8350 all in one.
Print share is enabled on both as well as bidirectional support

I've tried all remedies in the posts to get Vista x64 to print to x
desktop with printer. Here's what I have. When I print to th
networked printer the print job window opens with the print job visible
After a time I get and "unable to communicate" message and the job won
complete. The local port path is correct. I have tried the manua
addition of the port with the network path to the printer as well a
downloading of the Vista x64 driver from Lexmark. The Lexmark drive
install program does fine and can install the driver and locate th
networked printer. It seems that something is blocking th
communication between the two systems.

Any Ideas
