My print screen key does not work and I do not have clipboard. I have
notepad and wordpad. How can I activate this feature? I have an HP keyboard
and computer system with windows XP.

Thanks a lot.

Windows XP's Clipboard Viewer is now called the Clipbook Viewer
1. Right-click on the Desktop and select: New>Shortcut
2. In the Create Shortcut window, type: clipbrd.exe
3. Click Next
4. In the next window, type: ClipBook Viewer
5. Click Finish
4. A ClipBook Viewer shortcut icon will appear on your Desktop. You can drag and
drop the new shortcut onto your Start Button and then when you open your Start
menu, the new ClipBook Viewer Icon will appear near the top or if you prefer
leave it on your desktop.

To add Clipboard/Clipbook Viewer to the Control Panel see Line 130

Capturing Screens Using the Clipboard
You can take two different kinds of screen shots:
A picture of the whole screen by pressing PRINT SCREEN
A picture of the active window by pressing ALT-PRINT SCREEN
