Print sharing with Vista

I have 2 vista PCs. I setup a printer on one and shared it. I was able to
find it on my other PC (the client) fine but when I set it up Vista prompted
for an account and password on the PC that's sharing the printer. So I enter
an account & password and check the box to remember the password so that the
printer will continue to work on the client PC. Printing works fine on the
client until I reboot the client. Afterward I can't print to the shared
printer anymore. The printer definition exists but I can't print to it. I
don't think its remembering the remote account & password. I never had
trouble like this on Win2K. I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions to
make print sharing more reliable. Am I missing something?

Thanks, rp

I finally figured out what to do to make it work. I looked at the windows
account being used on the client PC and created the same account on the PC
that shares the printer. Even set the password the same. Afterward, I
recreated the printer on the cleint PC and this time it didn't ask for an
login ID on the PC that is sharing the printer. Afterward, everything works
as normal. Way back on Win2k I used to configure every PC to boot up into
the Administrator account which also had NO password. Thats why it worked
seemlessly on Win2k but it was also very insecure. Hope you get it to work
also.
