print spooler problem with Vista

When I try to add a printer I'm getting the "The local print spooling service
is not working and to restart the spooler or restart the machine"

I tried everything. Restarting, uninstalling the printer driver, which I
downloaded from Lexmark website, trying to start the print spooler,
everything. It's not working for me.

HELP PLEASE

1.Unplug your printer
2.Go to safe mode and uninstall your printer driver.
3.Restart your computer.
4.Install your printer driver and connect your printer when the
installer wants.

I've already uninstalled the printer drives, so I can't try this.
