Print spooler service stops

Within the last couple of weeks the print spooler stops. The event viewer
shows a message saying "print spooler service entered the stopped state"
with an event ID of 7036. It does not display as an error - just as
information There are no events on either side of it that are within an
hour of the service stopping that shows that something occurred that might
have triggered the event. I can restart service without any problem and
print to all of the printers. It will stop again within a couple of days.
Any help as to how I can prevent this from happening again would be greatly
appreciated.
