Printer/Driver not working with Vista

I have read a few things where I saw people got there printers to work by
downloading different drivers.
My problem:both printers will not work with my Vista.
Dell 924 and HP Photosmart 1315.
Any suggestions/help?

I just got Dell 968. It is perfectly comfortable with Vista. Go to Dell
site, Support, enter System Tag, download drivers.

Obtain the Vista-specific printer drivers, if available, from each
printer's respective manufacturer, and install them following the
manufacturers instructions. If your specific printers are no longer
supported by their manufacturers, you may need to consider replacing them.
