Printer Keeps Going Offline

I have an HP OfficeJet 7210 All-In-One Printer connected to my router
It has always worked fine

I recently replaced my old XP laptop with a new laptop running Vist
Home 32 bit and since that time, I have an issue with the printe
constantly going "offline" at seeming random times

When this occurs, if I attempt to print anything, it shows as "pending
in the print que but does not print until the laptop is rebooted

I thought it may have something to do with the laptop going into slee
mode (as I saw others post about that problem), however, that is not th
case with mine ---this morning, I printed a document, then a few minute
later, attempted to print another one and the printer was now "offline"

Any ideas

See if this helps:

Open Control Panel>Printers> r/click the printer>choose "Run as
Administrator">then click "Use Printer Online".

Also have you installed the Vista driver from the HP site?

Useless attempt. It only works on the board you are accessing these
