The defaults for the printer have been changed. To reset them t
whatever you desire, follow these simple steps
- Close all open program
- Click the Start Orb, then click Printer
- Right-click on your default printer, then select Propertie
- Adjust the appropriate properties for the printer to what you wan
them to be
- Click Appl
- Click OKThe next time you open a program, and attempt to print, it shoul
default to whatever settings you applied above. The key to remember i
that if you adjust the printer properties from with a program (such a
Word or Notepad) prior to printing, the changes are specific to tha
program session only. If you change the properties from within th
Printers control panel, then the settings should be set a defaults fo
all programs, even across reboots
I say should, because not all printer manufacturers write the mos
stable drivers, and Lexmark is no exception
