Printer operation

My printer doesnÂ´t work. I have deinstalled and reinstalled and checked
everything. The printer works on other computers but doesnÂ´t work with this
one it says that there is no printer installed but it is configured for LPT1
and the cable is good. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? Thanks.
IÂ´m using windows millenium and printer HP695C.
