printer troubles after update

After receiving the auto update for my hp printer, it is not working and I
have 2 icons for it at the bottom of my window. I tried to troubleshoot it,
when one of them told me it wasn't connected, but that didn't help. Did
anyone have a similar expperience? How did/ do you correct it? The update
was a few weeks ago and it was an hp memories update.
