Printing blank pages Windows Vista - HP LaserJet 4 Plus

My HP LaserJet 4 Plus prints a blank page AHEAD of the printed pages. It does
so only on the first printing job after turning the printer on. The blank
page comes with a small imprint, on the upper left corner: s1M
Afterwards it continues printing without problem.

Could be a driver issue, have you checked HP's website for updated drivers
or find out about support information and compatibility with Windows Vista?
Try removing and re-add the printer again and see if it corrects the
problem.

Hello,

Since I purchased a laptop with Windows Vista, my HP LaserJet 4 Plus prints a blank page with "1M" or "s1M" in the upper left corner. This only happens on the first print job, after that it works fine. Did you ever find a solution to this problem?
