You could print to a virtual printer. CutePDF is free and it gives you the
option of printing to a PDF file. It looks like a printer, so choose it to
print your document, then view it in Adobe Reader to see if the same
problem exists.
Side benefit: from now on, you can print to PDFs when you don't want to
waste paper.
From your other post in this thread, I see you had the same problem using
Ctrl-P. I wonder if you would have better luck using File | Print so you
could choose which printer to use on a given occasion.
