I wonder if anyone has had a similar problem to mine. I am running Vista
Home Premium SP1 with Microsoft Flight Simulator X SP2. When I use the
flight planner I am unable to print the Nav Log. On clicking the print
button nothing happens. My printer works OK in all other situations!

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Bob

If it's anything like FS 2004, you can do this during the game, by pressing

[alt key] > Flight > Navigation Log > Print ..

If not, it might be worth setting up a virtual printer. I tend to print
documents to pdf format for easier reading etc, which you can then print off
later via standard means.

I discovered the answwer on Microsoft Flight Sim newsgroup. It was caused
because I have Firefox set as my default browser and FSX requires IE.

I would like to know if there is a work around to enable the printing to
work with Firefox set as default browser,

Bob

Interesting. Thanks for the update.

Turning off the checks within IE and Firefox for being the default browser
(within each of their menu options) might help.

I had the same problem using Vista, FSX, firefox browser.
This works
Load your flight (from free flight)(Has flight plan saved with
flight)
Alt key to bring up menu bar (top of screen)
Highlight Flights
select NAV LOG
press "control P" to print. (not print button)

(Do not go to flight planner. Go direct to NAVIGATION LOG)

Do not go to flight planner go direct to NAVIGATION LOG.
