probelms

hi everyone .i have a pc which is 800mhz and intel celeron. i have installed
windows xp in it.when i log on to my account ,as soon as the screen with the
icons appear.i dont know but some exe files appears and disappears in
seconds ,didnt get a chance to see what the exe files are.and when i try to
install some registry clening programs ,as soon as the first dialog box
appears prompting the user to click next or select, before i could click on
the next ,the dialog box minimises and disappears.but for some programs it
doesnt happens....The last is that when i try to install a program a error
message appears saying " MSVBM60.DLL not found" when i tried to install the
DLL file , the system says ncould not install the DLL file. help on this
guys........
