Despite stating that the installation is complete, everytime I reboot my PC
the same 3 updates are listed for me to install over and over again.

KB928367
KB928366
KB928365

I also now have this strange issue where everytime IE7 opens, a dialog pops
up briefly indicating that the Windows installer is running, it even happens
if I open additional tabs or browser wondows...

Any clues

I had a similar problem involving KB928365 AND 366. Microsoft help to resolve
the problem:

Go to:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301
Downlod the windows installer Cleanup Utility

Sorry for the posts newbie and not got the hang of the procedure.. start
again..

Had a similar problem involving KB928365 and 366. Microsoft help to resolve
the problem :

Go to:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301
Downlod the windows installer Cleanup Utility.
Run the file. It will show windows files loaded.
Highlight any .net Framework e.g 1.1 and 2.0. and restart.

Go to:
https://login.live.com/login.srf?wa=...23100&id=74335

Download and install Framework 1.1

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

Then download Framework SP1.1:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en
(http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en)

Then Download Framework 2.0:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...DisplayLang=en
(http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...DisplayLang=en)

Restart and try again to install updates. Hope this helps and thanks again
to Microsofts' -Ripen.
