I'm wondering if this is going to be rectified before public release. MS
is going to have a terrible time if everyone with a laptop can't install
the new OS. I am having the same problem.. I also have a tablet PC and a
desktop but didn't really want to install it on either of those. I had
earmarked my laptop when I asked my friend if they would get me into the
beta. I might consider loading it on my desktop but last resort. I'm
hoping to get an answer from MS direct tomorrow via tech support number
they supplied with the disk.
I can hardly wait to get this working. I hope I can get it to work on my
laptop,. I'm not going to downgrade my BIOS to get it to work though. My
laptop is only 6 months old and it has the original and latest BIOS.
Thnaks!
