Hello, i have a problem that my Microsoft windos XP profesional updates are
disabled. All started then i got that very annoying spyware "Antivirus 2009".
i cleaned up from everything i could find, but automatic updates still Turned
off (I can mark everything i want in in updates manage center ) and still
ballon comes with notification that your Automatic Updates are Turned Off.
Maybe somebody already have had such a thing and can help me?

Well, you'll need to clean up your PC first (and this isn't the group for
that). I guess your anti-virus/anti-malware software isn't doing a great job.
Either go to a security site (Symantec, McAfee, TrendMicro, etc.) and do a
bit of research. Also try Safe Networking's SpywareBlaster or SpyBot.

Hello I had the same problem, after you remove "antivirus 2009" go to Local
disK (C), click on Propertis-Tools-Check Now- and mark automatically fix file
system errors, and Scan for and attempt to recovery of bad sectors, and click
Start. This whill schedule a reboot followed by a complet system check (may
take a wille, for me aprox 2 hours).after that go to automatic updates and
start it. for me it workt just fine. Ps: sorry for me english, I'm not from
arround.
