Hi!

I'm having a serious problem after I install Service Pack 2 on Windows XP.
My computer displays a blue screen with error and automatically restarts
without even reading the error message.

This never happened to me before I bought a new Motherboard and a new Intel
Processor.

Motherboard: Epox 5PLAI
Processor: Intel P4 2.8GHz LGA

What I did for the meantime is uninstall SP2 so I could still use Windows XP.

Hope someone here could help me on my problem. Thanks in advance.

Gerald;
Make sure you have the latest drivers for all your hardware.

To stop the blue screen:
Right click My Computer
Click Properties
Click Advanced tab
Click "Settings" button under "Start-up and Recovery"
Uncheck "Automatically restart"
Click OK, follow prompts and reboot
The next time you get a blue screen, you will have time to read the details.

Follow the Service Pack Installation Checklist to help make sure the
computer is ready for SP-2:

Hi Jupiter,

I believe i got the latest drivers for each of my hardware components. I
tried installing SP2 to see the error message and here's the error that I
get...

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

Tried rebooting several times using the option "Last known good
configurations", but still no luck.

What does that error message supposed to mean?
