problem after installing xp sp 3

I problem with windows updates after installing xp sp 3. I Also have
problem installing office 2007 and adobe cs3 for the same reason.
I would appreciate your help.

Ignore the title of the kb article - Updates are not installed successfully from Windows
Update, from Microsoft Update, or by using Automatic Updates after you repair a Windows XP
