problem after startup

16 Bit Subsystem
c:\windows\system32\auto exec.nt -The system file is not suitable for
running ms-dos and microsoft applications .... This appears after every start
up can anyone tell me how to fix this problem and why it happened.It just
started appearing out of the blue a couple of days ago..would be very
greatful for any help many thanks in advance

This is a window operating issue and not related to windows update, I would
suggest you try a different news group?
