problem with application 'Help' pull-down menu function

Hi,

I have only recently installed 'Windows Vista Business' onto my PC. It
seems to work well in all respects except one (for the moment).

When I attempt to access 'Help' from any pull-down menu that needs to
obtain information from the Internet (and all of those I've tried so far
seem to), a warning message appears stating that 'Internet Explorer cannot
download / from Windows'.

Although I have Internet Explorer operational on my PC, I actually use
'Firefox'. Is there a setting somewhere that I need to activate? I realise
that an obvious first step would be to un-install 'Firefox'. However, I
thought I'd ask here first for any advice.

Many thanks,

Bob

Hi Bob,

Option Two should be able to help you here.

Thanks a lot. That seems to have solved the problem. However, I don't know
whether there wasa temporary problem with the website but the link on
'Option 2' seemed to hang on download. I then went to the link at the top of
the page. This gave a further description of the error and a working fix
download. This worked, so thanks again.

Your welcome Bob. It may have been caused by Firefox somehow if it was
made the default browser. Glad to hear it is working again for you.
