no updates will install auto or manual bar autoupdater 3 can install hotfix
as it goes through the motions so far and then ends with an error " setup
could not verify the integrity of the file update.inf. Make sure the
cryptographic service is running on this computer " and it is all manually
downloaded updates end with the same error.
This all started after i noticed the microsoft validation notification
started to apear out of the blue and this is a genuine copy that was
validated, anyway managed to get it validated again with micrsoft but now the
comp is slowing to almost a comlete stop E.g. when i open my computer folder
the flash light appears while it searchs for the files in that folder after a
few minutes they appear and the same delay happens with add and remove
programmes when i go to check what updates i have installed? all so on start
up i can on the user account to start the desktop but nothing seems to load
at start up anit virus etc for about 2,3 mins and then the start up music
sounds ??
And help would be grateful
