hi i have recently purchased an emachine 4220 with home premium installed its
driving me mad i have been tryin to establish what the error is for three
weeks now and am reasonably sure its not a hardware issue as i have ran
memtest etc and nothing has come up i believe that it is a software issue but
i need some computer guru to verify this the information is below:

Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.0.6000.2.0.0.768.3
Locale ID: 2057

Additional information about the problem:

BCP1: F1702140
BCP2: 00000001
BCP3: 81CE7610
BCP4: 00000002
OS Version: 6_0_6000
Service Pack: 0_0
Product: 768_1

Files that help describe the problem:
C:\Windows\Minidump\Mini122907-02.dmp
C:\Users\Simon\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-37986-0.sysdata.xml
C:\Users\Simon\AppData\Local\Temp\WERAEE4.tmp.vers ion.txt

Most blue screens are driver related. I have never used the driver verifier
in Vista so I don't even know if it is still called that, but it was useful
in isolating drivers in XP. If the tool is there why not try it?

Hi,

Send this file to me at the email address used here:
C:\Windows\Minidump\Mini122907-02.dmp

Use a subject line of "per req". As Colin has indicated, 0x50 stop errors
are usually driver related. The dump file may contain the information
necessary to identify which one is causing the problem.
