In WMP when I right click on the sample videos and select delete, nothing
happens. Nothing comes up and nothing happens to the video. The first time
I tried it, it asked if I wanted to just delete it from the library of if I
wanted to delete the file as well. I selected that I wanted to delete the
file as well. I see that's now a setting which is probably why it no longer
comes up.
If I go to the video library in Explorer nothing is there as I did delete it
from there. I'll be updating my husbands computer to 7 soon. I wonder if I
copy that sample video folder & files from his computer over to mine and put
them back if I will then be able to remove them properly the way I was able
do so with the music.
I don't use ratings and I'm not sure what play counts are (is it the total
times a song has been played?). Why would anyone care about that, I don't
know.
How long does it take to restore the media library? I have over 1000 songs
on a network drive and now that I finally got them into the library, I'd hate
to mess something up.
