Never download / install hardware drivers from MS, go to the manufacturers
websie if an update is really needed that is: if it ain'y broke: do NOT
"fix" it.
Try system restore in safe mode and return to a point where the problem did
not occur or try rolling back on the driver in device mangar, assuming you
are runnung win XP since you did not mention the OS you are usung.
