Problem by checking for new Updates in WinUpdate!

When I want to check for new Updates with my System: Win98! Then after
clicking on the button the following Fault-Number comes: 0x80072F05

What can it be? What should i do? I have already deactivated my Firewall but
this doesnt work! Please help me!

Scroll down to locate "Error 0x80072F05 in Windows Update.log file when
trying to run GetManifest.asp"
