Problem connecting to WIFI after installing update KB952709

My laptop downloaded and installed a few updates last night and this morning
I was not able to connect to my WIFI router any more. I unistalled the
KB952709 and the problem went. Any other way of fixing the problem without
having to give up on this update altogether?
