problem downloading games

Hi, I have a new computer and new to windows vista, I can search the web no
problem but it will not let me download any games or videos. when I click
Allow the download for the security after the download it will just
dissapear, won't let anything download. Is there a secret I don't know or do
I need software to allow me to download games.

Contact to your ISP (Internet service provider) ,,may be u have limited
DSL connection..... and use download Accelerator 8.6 which is compatible on
vista.

Try turning User Accounts Control off temporarily. Then download your game
and turn UAC back on. If this doesn't work, try turning off your firewall.
Whichever you do - turn them back on! Hope this works for you. You can find
UAC by clicking start and entering it into the search box.

Gamesraider: I turned off my UAC and lo and behold I was able to download my
games. Thank you so much for your help and thank goodness it was something so
simple who would have thought. Can't thank you enough I have been trying to
figure this out for a couple of months. Now I can do a puzzle or play a game
for some relaxzation.
