If you are confident in editing the registry then reset the Permissions
on that subkey so that Administrator and System both have Full Control
and Read perms.

Close the browser and ANY other open programs. If ANY printing has been
done suggest you reboot the system now.
Double click msxml4-KB927978-enu.exe and choose REMOVE
Once the operation is finished, reboot if prompted to
If not prompted to or after the reboot, double click
msxml4-KB927978-enu.exe again and choose INSTALL
Reboot if prompted to.
