Problem with Drive Letters

I use 2 HD. The first one is C and contains Vista and all programs. The
second disc has 2 partitions which are marked D(E) and E(F) and are used for
back ups etc.. The markings (E) and (F) create confusion and need to be
deleted. With XP Prof I used Partition Magic for this kind of prblem, howver
in Vista this does not work. Please help.

have you tried right clicking the partition under windows
explorer...rename??

Are you saying that you want to rename E and F? Just go to Computer and right
click the drive and select rename.

Well, you have 2 easy solutions:
1- Rename the partitions to "E" and "F" (MB2 and select " Rename")
2 -Change the drive letters for the partitions (Administrative Tools ->
Computer Management ->Disk Management)

Depends on what you want to see: D(D and E(E or E(E and F(F

The letters in the brackets are the real drive letters for the partitions.
You either would like to rename the partitions by right clicking them in
Computer, to be the same as the drive letters, or change the drive letters
in Disk Management to match the names.
