Problem with e-mail attachment

No 1, i can't see attached photos in my received e-mail messages, only grey
background.

No2, i can't attach photos to my e-mails, the viewable photos, in my photo
album only show the first few choices & will not allow me to select or attach
them.

Can I download another hotmail program, to solve this problem?
